At the launching of the Kamyab Pakistan Program, Shaukat Tarin, Federal Minister for Finance said that this was a great initiative toward making Pakistan a welfare state based on Riyasat-e-Madina a dream by PM Imran Khan.

PM Imran Khan said that around Rs 2.5 billion had been distributed to low-income families in various welfare schemes while the banks had also given Rs 55 billion under the housing projects.
